DEPORTATION DEFENSE
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) commences removal proceedings with the issuance of a Notice to Appear (NTA) directing an individual to appear in Immigration Court. The NTA contains separate charges or allegations that must be responded to before the Immigration Judge. If you have been issued an NTA, it is of utmost importance that you consult with a skilled immigration attorney before responding to the allegations against you. Given our Firm’s core belief that immigrants including recent arrivals should be afforded access to quality legal representation, Andrew Thomas Law is able to offer reduced fee consultation to individuals in removal proceedings.
Andrew Thomas Law expertly represents its clients in removal proceedings. We regularly represents clients before the Immigration Courts in Philadelphia, Newark, NJ, New York, Baltimore, and other immigration court nationwide. Andrew Thomas is experienced working with clients in both detained and non-detained settings.
In immigration courts, we handle all matter of applications for relief from removal, including asylum and cancellation of removal and waivers. Cancellation of removal is available for long-term US residents whose US citizen children would suffer an exceptional or extremely unusual hardship if their parents had to go back to their country. Andrew Thomas Law is dedicated to keeping families together and will fight hard for your family. We prepare our cancellation of removal and other “hardship” cases in conjunction with recognized psychological and medical experts to strengthen your case before the Immigration Judge.
